We started OPTIQUE becauseeyewear had become loud.So we removed the noise —and the colour with it.
What remains when you strip colour from an object is pure geometry. Proportion, balance, the line of a temple. There is nowhere to hide, and that is exactly the point.
Every frame is cut from Italian acetate or surgical-grade titanium, then finished by hand over weeks — not minutes. We make fewer things, more carefully, in one colour story: black and white.
Monochrome
We design without colour so that form has nowhere to hide. Black and white never date.
Handcraft
Thirty-two steps, most by hand, in a single workshop outside Belluno.
Longevity
A five-year structural warranty and lifetime hinge repairs. Built to be kept.
